Buttering Trowels have been used by bricklayers and masonry professionals for centuries to spread a layer of mortar or plaster on a surface.

The trowel is named for it's similarity to a butter knife due to the snub shaped nose. These trowels are used in a similar fashion, with smooth even strokes.

This buttering trowel is supplied with a 5" traditional wooden handle.
