Floor Calibration Measurement Tools

Accurately checking a floor to ensure that it is perfectly flat (surface regularity) can be carried out with the tools on this page. 

Choose from our 2 metre (code: 26550)  or a 3 metre (code: 26555) straight edge tools which are raised off the ground by blocks to create a void. The next piece of equipment on this page you will require is the Measuring Wedge (Code: 26570) which is use to measure the height of any found deflections, this graduated measuring wedge is marked every 2.5mm and measures a range up to 12.5mm high.

This method of testing is described in both BS8204-Part 1:2003 and BS8204-Part 2:2003. A 2m straight edge is used in both specifications.

These tools are usually but not always specified on mezzanine decks or retail units where tiling is to be received.
