Steel Mortar Skip
We supply two sizes of steel heavy duty mortar skips (360ltr and 250ltr).
These heavy duty construction skips are used predominately for transporting concrete but are also used for quick and easy site tidy, and for moving or storing smaller materials, equipment and waste.
Fitted with crane lifting points and fork pockets for easy manoeuvrability these skips are manufactured in the UK from quality British and EU steel.Â
Other sizes to fulfil specific on-site requirements can be manufactured to order.
Using with a Forklift
1. Set the forklift’s forks to the correct width for the skip and ensure that they are equidistant from the centre.
2. Drive the forklift to the skip aligning the forks with the base of the skip. Double check that all is correctly aligned, then move the forklift forward until the forks are fully inserted.
Using with a Crane
1. Attach a suitably rated chain sling to each of the lifting eyes.
2. Ensure the load is balanced and secure before lifting.
